Mobile Multi-trade Operative

Location: East Anglia, London and Southeast

Salary: £13.5 – £15ph

Our Client is a leading building and maintenance company providing top-tier services to businesses across East Anglia, London, and the Southeast, and they pride themselves on delivering high-quality maintenance solutions.

Role:

We are seeking an unskilled Mobile Multi-Trade Operative to join our clients’ dynamic team. This is a night shift position, where you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks across London and the Southeast, predominantly within the retail and care home sectors . The role demands versatility, attention to detail, and the reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Helping the maintenance engineer to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including repairs, installations, and general upkeep.

Utilise hand and power tools for various jobs, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Assemble and disassemble fixtures, fittings, and other elements as required.

Follow and interpret instructions accurately to complete tasks to a high standard.

Maintain clear communication with clients and team members to ensure job requirements are understood and met.

Travel between sites across London and the Southeast, ensuring all work is completed within the required timeframe.

Requirements:

Knowledge in a multi-trade role, preferably within the retail or care home sectors.

Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and the engineer.

Proficient in using hand and power tools, with a solid understanding of safety protocols.

Strong assembly knowledge and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Flexibility to work night shifts and travel to various locations within London and the Southeast.
