Class 2 Removal Driver in Surrey

£30,000 – £32,000/annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a reputable business headquartered in Guilford region for an experienced Class 2 HGV Removal Driver on a temp to perm basis.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Class 2 Removal Driver to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a Class 2 vehicle and assisting with the safe and efficient removal of goods, to and from residential and commercial properties.

The Class 2 removal driver responsibility:

• Safe and efficient operation of a Class 2 vehicle
• Loading and unloading of goods
• Assisting with the packing and securing of items for transport
• Following all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintaining accurate logbooks and completing required documentation
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections to ensure it is in good working order.
• Delivering items to the designated location and assisting with unloading and unpacking as necessary
• Ensuring all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients

The class 2 removal driver must – have:

• Valid UK driver’s license, CPC & Tacho
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving Class 2 vehicles
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labour.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Clean driving record with no recent major offenses
