Night Warehouse Operative

Location: Hassocks, West Sussex

Salary/Rate: £13.21 – £18.51/hour

As a night warehouse operative, you are vital to the safe and efficient movement of the parcels in our depots. You are a crucial part of ensuring that we provide a service that genuinely makes a difference to our clients’ customers.

Equipped with all the tools needed to do the job, you will be required to:

• Unload, scan, sort, and load parcels
• Ensure the safe and swift journey of parcels through our network

Some parcels you will handle are large/heavy items, weighing up to 25kg. This is a physically demanding job, so you must be able to lift, load, and carry to perform your duties. Our clients’ depots operate 365 days a year, and as part of our warehouse team, you will be required to work shifts.

Hours and Days of Work:

• Tuesday to Saturday: 1:00am to 9:30am
• Sunday to Thursday: 1:00am to 9:30am

Qualifications: What we’re looking for:

• Passion and self-determination
• Eye for detail
• Organised
• Ability to work under pressure
• Having a car and the ability to drive to work would be a big advantage
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across various areas of the warehouse
• Ability to lift, load, and carry
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a warehouse environment would be advantageous
