Pet Travel Specialist

Location: Gatwick

Salary: £25-£27k

My client is currently looking for an animal-loving, enthusiastic and dedicated person to join their team of pet travel experts. This company has been relocating pets all over the world for over 20 years delivering exceptional customer care.

As a pet travel specialist, you will be required to provide advice, prices and information on all aspects of pet travel to potential new clients, as well as making booking and planning the pets journey from start to finish.

What the job entails

• Providing quotations, information and guidance to clients wishing to relocate their pets.
• Communicating with customers on a daily basis both over the phone and via email
• Familiarising yourself with airline requirements, standard industry procedures and destination country rules and regulations
• Making flight booking with airlines and preparing travel documentation.
• Liaising with third parties such as kennels, vets, etc.
• Meeting clients and their pets

What we need from you

• Experience in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Previous experience in the pet travel/freight industry/exports/customs
• Competency in English grammar, spelling and general literacy
• UK Driving licence preferred
• Previous office experience
